Conference was amazing as always! One of my many favorite talks was Elder Uchtdorf's talk. In a nutshell it was basically about not judging and forgiving others. In his talk he mentioned a bumper sticker he saw that said "Don't judge me because I sin differently then you" I love this quote! It is so true, we are ALL beggars before God, we ALL need the atonement, we are all human with imperfections and flaws... It goes well with what Elder Holland always says...The race is against sin, NOT each other! And I love the thought that the merciful will attain mercy. In order to receive the forgiveness we desperately want for ourselves we need to give it to others. So let it go and forgive, that doesn't mean your excusing what someone did to you, your simply giving it to the savior and letting the atonement heal the situation. Any who, conference was awesome! It was a much needed upliftment for all of us I'm sure! I am just so grateful to have the knowledge of TIMELESS TRUTHS, as President Monson puts it. So many people are without that knowledge and I don't know how I could get through everyday with out this gospel. It is our duty to share it. I don't remember who said this but I love it: "Always preach the gospel and if necessary use words" Our actions and example sometimes speak louder than words! Happy April everybody! woohoo its almost SUMMER!!!
