To let go does not mean to stop caring, it means I can't do it for someone else.
To let go is not to cut myself off, it's the realization that I can't control another.
To let go is not to enable, but to allow learning from natural consequences.
To let go is to admit powerlessness, which means the outcome is not in my hands.
To let go is not to try to change or blame another, it's to make the most of myself.
To let go is not to care for, but to care about.
To let go is not to fix, but to be supportive.
To let go is not to judge, but to allow another to be a human being.
To let go is not to be in the middle arranging all the outcomes, but to allow others to affect their own destinies.
To let go is not to be protective, it's to permit another to face reality.
To let go is not to criticize, or regulate anyone, but to try to become what I dream I can do.
To let go is to fear less, and to love more.

My new favorite quote:
"Love is a verb. The feeling of love is the fruit of love." -Stephen R. Covey
When I was in the depths of my ED I thought I was unworthy to be loved. Like who could possibly love me? I am a mess. Since then I have learned that LOVE and APPROVAL are two very different things. I have learned that I am worth loving and best of all that my LOVE is worth having. Only YOU can give the love that you are meant to give. So give it! Don't deprive the world of yourself. The world needs you. Even if its just your own little world. Letting someone into your life is a gift to you and to that person. You have a lot to give that no one else can give, so don't hold back. The best motivator in the world is LOVE, the worst is guilt. Love is worth the risk! There is no better feeling than giving your love!
In this last conference President Monson told us: "We must develop the capacity to see men not as they are at present, but as they may become" I love that quote. I think it can be applied to the way we see ourselves as well.
I love Pres. Monson and I love you. Thanks for your words of wisdom....
