Spring Body Image Challenge Day 7

Sorry I didn't get this up on Saturday but I was busy and I figured the rest of you were busy enjoying your Saturday too, so we'll pick up here on Monday. Boo Mondays! But hopefully this will start your week off right...

So Saturday night I got to go to a broadcast of the largest world-wide sisterhood in the world- The Relief Society of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. It was so so good and reminded me of who I am as a Woman and what my purpose and Identity is. I am just so proud to be a Woman! This is probably the singly most important thing that has helped me with my negative body image. To know that I am a cherished daughter of the almighty God, and that my worth is not based on the number I see on the scale but on the love that I give and the people that I help and the soul that I am- that is my identity. I just really loved this broadcast. I believe that we women are so cherished in the eyes of God and that we inherited divine traits from our heavenly mother and that our heavenly father cherishes her as his most sacred treasure. As daughters of God our potential and capacity for happiness is limitless.

I will share more about this broadcast soon and when the video is available to watch I will post the link.

But my challenge to you today is to take some time out of your day to really think about your identity and really strive to understand who you are as a daughter of God. Strive to really feel how he feels about you. The best way to do this is through prayer and study. I believe that God hears and answers prayers. It has been a process but I have really come to feel love that my father in heaven has for me. I feel him smiling down on me when I try to do my best. I feel that he really knows me. He can help us overcome our self-doubts, fears, insecurities, even negative body image, and help us know who we are as his daughter. That is true confidence.

This videos might help you get going to realize who you are and more importantly who's you are.
