The Temple, Fear, and Jesus Christ- The light of the World!

I got to go to the temple tonight and it was so amazing, I love the temple SO much! It is my favorite place on earth. Before I went I was feeling so discouraged and weighed down by all the horrible negative things in the world. But at the temple I was reminded that goodness and righteousness will prevail and we don't need to be afraid of evil or darkness. When we are on the Lord's side we don't have to fear! I am just so grateful for my knowledge of the purpose of life, which you can learn more about here! I was seriously in the grumpiest mood when we went to the temple and now I feel so much better about life because I was reminded of what life is all about.

This pic was taken this summer at the Mt. Timpanogas Temple. Obviously not tonight because it was FREEEEEEZING, like I literally froze on the way back to our car. This is where I got married 2 1/2 years ago, this temple is my favorite place on earth! I just look at temples and think, wow these are the most majestic, beautiful buildings on earth and I am a part of that. The amazement and beauty of these buildings makes me think of the all knowing power and majesty of God.

To learn more about LDS (mormon) temples go here
We have 141 operating, 15 under construction, and 14 announced to be built.
That is simply incredible!

I was also thinking about LIGHT, its appropriate at this time of year when there are beautiful lights everywhere! Jesus Christ is the light of the world. And light dispels darkness, light always wins, so instead of being overcome with darkness it is paramount that we fill our lives with light! For an amazing talk on The hope of God's light go here.

Our Christmas tree! We're all about the fresh, real trees! We were wondering how Mila was going to be with it but she's only pulled the lights a few times and broken 2 ornaments so i'd say she's doing pretty good.

I love Christmas, I love Jesus Christ!
