Awesome, That's all I can say. This made me laugh so hard. The thigh gap talk is pretty
silly and ridiculous, even more so then this video. There are so many more worthwhile pursuits in this life than the thigh gap and the majority of Women would have to sacrifice a lot in their lives to achieve the "thigh gap" Yep I even laugh at its ridiculousness as I write it. Enjoy!
Eating Disorders are an epidemic. So many people are suffering in silence, we need to talk about it more. I find myself being hesitant to talk about it with people too because people just don't talk about ED's and I see them all around me. I don't think a lot of people see these absurd diets and exercise obsessions as a problem, in fact people with ED's are often times praised and adored for their "self discipline" and "control". We need to remember the concept of living a balanced life. Instead of diet and exercise enhancing our lives it is taking over our lives. There is so much pressure on women to be thin, it is insane and ridiculous, its hard to catch a breath. Our crazy world would have us feel worthless if we're not. And if we are thin, but haven't accomplished much else, we can still be seen as successful in this world. There is something seriously wrong with that. We are much more than something to be looked at. We are so much more then a clothes hanger. I realize there are a lot of people out there who don't think like this, and that some girls are very thin genetically. I'm just saying we should all embrace our differences and uniqueness instead of try to fit the thigh gap mold. There is more and more people who are suffering from eating disorders and its greatly due to the messages of our insane social media that thrive on us feeling bad about ourselves and just want our money! Don't believe it! I'm all about taking care of our bodies and eating nutritiously and exercising but lets make sure what we are doing to our bodies and minds are actually good for them and not destructive.
